Giraffe Stitch Boot and Wrist Cuffs.

Materials: *G & H Hook *Color A and B of any type of yarn. (Tutorial uses WW #4 yarn) *Scissors *Yarn Needle Stitch Abbreviations: ch - chain sc - single crochet hdc - half double crochet dc - double crochet fhdc - foundation half double crochet hdc3tog - decrease 3 hdc into one hdc slst - slip stitch sk - skip *-* - Repeat from first * to end * sp - space st(s) - stitch(es) Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Gauge: (hdc) H Hook 6 sts x 4 rows = 2” x 2” Notes: Decrease Options these all have a different look and it's up to you which you like the best! 1. hdc3tog (as included in this tutorial) 2. Boot Cuffs Starting Chains (H Hook) Toddler 8” - 28      Child 10” - 36                Adult Small 12” - 40 Adult Medium 13” - 44       Adult Large 14” - 48Wrist Cuffs Starting Chains (G Hook) Toddler 4.5“ - 20   Child 5“ - 22                Adult Small 5.5“ - 24 Adult Medium 6“ - 26                         Adult Large 6.5“ - 28With Color ACustomize your size: Measure your Calf and subtract 1”.  Chain multiples of 4 OR Foundation Hdc in multiples of 4. (Fhdc-skip round 1) Join to first chain (fhdc). Do not twist.Round 1: Ch 1. hdc in each ch (st) around. Join to first. Ch 1. (do not turn)Round 2: *hdc in next 3 sts. Ch 5. Skip 1 st.* Repeat *-* around. Join to 1st st. (Tutorial Picture 1-3)Change to Color B. Turn project. Round 3: *3 dc in skipped st of Round 1. Hdc into 1 hdc of Round 2.* Repeat *-* around. Join to 1st st. Ch 1. (do not turn) (Tutorial Picture 4-7) Round 4: Hdc in each st around. Join to 1st st. Change to Color A. Turn project. Round 5: *1 Hdc in next 3 sts. Yarn Over and insert hook into 3rd chain of the Ch-5, insert into next st of row. Complete hdc.* Repeat *-* around. Join to 1st st. Ch 1. (do not turn) (Tutorial Picture 8-12) Repeat Round 2-5 one more time. FO Weave in ends. Turn project right side out and on opposite end attach desired color. Ribbed Cuff: Round 1: Work 1 hdc into each st around. Join to 1st hdc. Ch 1. Wrist Round 2 - 3: Fphdc in next st. Bphdc in next st. Join to 1st hdc. Ch 1.  Work to Round 6 for Boot Cuffs. FO and Weave in ends.
