Red Heart Yarn (Yellow and Black)

BODY
Round 1: (With Yellow) Magic Circle. 6 sc in ring. Join to first sc. Pull ring closed. Ch 1. (6 sc)
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around. Join to first. Ch 1. (12 sc)
Round 3: *1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc.* Repeat *-* around. Join to first. Ch 1. (18 sc)
Round 4: *1 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc innext sc.* Repeat *-* around. Join to first. Ch 1. (24 sc)
Round 5: 1 sc in each sc around. Join to first. Ch 1. (24 sc)
Change to Black
Round 6-7: 1 sc in each sc around. Join to first. Ch 1. (24 sc)
Change to Yellow
Round 8-9: 1 sc in each sc around. Join to first. Ch 1. (24 sc)
Change to Black
Round 10: 1 sc in each sc around. Join to first. Ch 1. (24 sc)
Round 11: *1 sc in next 2 sc. Sc2tog next 2 sc.* Repeat *-* around. Join to first. Ch 1. (18 sc)
Change to Yellow
Round 12: 1 sc in each sc around. Join to first. Ch 1. (18 sc)
Round 13: *1 sc in next sc. Sc2tog next 2 sc.* Repeat *-* around. Join to first. Ch 1. (12 sc)
Stuff the Bee at this time.
Change to Black
Round 14: 1 sc in each sc around. Join to first. Ch 1. (12 sc)
Round 15: *Sc2tog next 2 sc.* Repeat *-* around. Join to first. Ch 1. (6 sc)
Round 16: 1 sc in each sc around. Join to first. Fasten Off. Leave tail for weaving hole closed. (6 sc)
With yarn needle and Black Tail, weave the hole closed.
Wings (Make 2)
Row 1: With White Yarn. Magic Ring. 10 dc in ring. Pull String to close ring. DO NOT JOIN. (will look like a 1/2 circle) Ch 1. Turn.
Row 2: 2 hdc in each dc across. Join to first hdc to create a subtle “tear drop shape”. Fasten Off. Leave tail for sewing.
Assemble
Weave in Magic Ring strands. With the yarn tail of one wing, whip stitch both wings together over 4 hdcs that are lined up together to join them together. With yarn tail of the other wing, sew onto the top of the bee. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
